Information of SQL 2005

I installed the SQL Developers and I would like to know if I can install the Management Studio Express to obtain to use together with the SQL?

Infopath

I am using SBS 2003 Premium with SQL Server installed and
updated to SP3a. When I connect to the example database
in infopath 2003 the "Submit to database" option is there
when I insert a submit button. When I created my own
database, the option is not there. Any ideas?

I remember running into this issue a couple of months ago when I was
struggling to learn Infopath, but I forgot what the answer is -- it
has to do with Infopath, not SQL Server. I'd post on the
microsoft.public.infopath newsgroup, where you're more likely to get
responses from people who use Infopath regularly :-)

Indexing text within pdf content as a text file

Hello everyone,
I have a very strange problem : I've installed SQL server 2005, create
a storage for full index and full text index on a table. I've also
installed Adobe IFilter. Searches are OK but only on one criteria I
have problem. let me explain.
I'm searching in files in database for "c#" and some pdf files returned
by search are not containing "c#". Opening these PDF files with notepad
and searching for string "c#" let me find out why this file is returned
by search... Is it really the problem or not ? (is seems to do the same
on word files too...)

SQL FTS interprets C# as C#, but c# as c. So you need to capitalize the C in
your searches and content for this to work correctly.

Thanks for your quick answer, but it seems that the problem still
remains : I was wondering if it has something to do with the full text
index in database, as I configured it to case insensitive.
Do I have to put it back to case sensitive to make it work ?
Do I have to change noise words files (I've already removed "C" letter
from neutral and english files) ?.

I created a new table, with full text index in case sensitive mode,
adding documents to it.
I still get files not containing C# values (all types of documents).
I even tried to use CONTAINSTABLE and FREETEXTTABLE, but problem is the
same...
Any ideas ?

|||I take it you are Swiss and using the German or French (or Italian) word
breakers. In these languages c# and C# are indexed as c and C# - a search on
c# or C# will match with c and c# (lower and upper case). English
unfortunately is the exception here. c# is indexed as c, and C# is indexed
as C#, the search is done on C# which will match with C# and a search on c#
will match with c.

Indexing documents in SQLServer 2005

I have a SQLServer 2005 database and store documents in a table. I have installed the index and it works fine. My problem is that it does not index pdf documents, Office 2007 documents and so on.

Does anyone have a clue on how to solve this?

I have installed the Adobe ifilter 6 but how do you tell SQLServer this?

Is there an add method for the table that contains the filters?

Try the following steps on your SQL Server Instance

sp_fulltext_service 'load_os_resources',1. This command tells the Microsoft Search Service to load OS specific wordbreakers, stemmers, and such.
sp_fulltext_service 'verify_signature', 0. Do not verify that the binaries are signed.

|||You might also check whether the MSSearch service has been started or up and running. Also check the SQL error log for any sort of fulltext indexing related errors.
